Aims are set at making the countryside a modern area characteristic of Huizhou cultures.

There are 101 towns 899 villages in Huangshan City . Currently, 100 towns villages have qualified to be called “Modernized New Village”.

The rural tourism development is a good breakthrough point in new village construction and old village conservation. At present, rural tourism is well developed in villages adjoining the key scenic spots, especially those villages around the Huangshan Scenic Area, and along the Xin’an River. These programs include sightseeing, farming, folk culture performance, and recuperation activities.
